The curated series for Rabauw Records

Phantom Lure was invited by partners in crime and fellow Belgian record label "Rabauw Records" to curate some fine releases for the label. These are out now and available directly from Rabauw's home page or in the Phantom Lure store.

We have curated a total of six vinyls of which four are out now and two will follow later this year. These are all hidden gems so we encourage you to discover and support these!

Acheron's Reticuli - The Strangeness Of Orbiting Objects

Acheron's Reticuli blends haunting melodies with relentless riffs, crafting an atmosphere that’s both otherworldly and intense. For those seeking a journey through the darker corridors of the cosmos, The Strangeness of Orbiting Objects offers a compelling exploration.

Örastimar - Kalt

Raw and unrelenting black metal release from Germany, recorded during the dark winter days of January 2024 in the snow-covered Rattenbunker. The album channels pure misanthropy, anti-social contempt, and seething hatred, wrapped in a lo-fi haze that amplifies its suffocating bleakness and rage.

Le'Vampyric - Vladislavs Dracvla, Wallachiæ Weywoden

With Vladislav’s Dracvla: Wallachi Weywoden, Indonesian act Le’Vampyric unveils their third release—a return to black metal form while still embracing the dungeon synth atmospheres that define their sound. The black metal here is less chaotic than before, opting instead for a more melodic and nuanced approach.

Aukoutloth - The Moon Darkened Twilight Into Night...

The Moon Darkened Twilight Into Night marks the debut of this Québécois black metal project, delivering a raw and focused first offering. The album leans into a moderately harsh sound—gritty, mid-paced, and unwavering in its grim intent. There are no drastic tempo shifts here, just a steady, brooding atmosphere built on murky vocals and dissonant, unpolished guitar work.
