This split represents the polar ends of the spectrum of madness. Spider God ascends into peak mania with whirling guitar melodies that reveal themselves as crazed specters supported by relentless vocals and an elevating rhythm section. Μνήμα grapples the listener by the throat and casts them into a realm of pure filth, suffocating the listener with abrasive riffs, punishing drums, and nightmarish screams. Ultimately this dichotomy of approaches to black metal demonstrates how much variety exists within the realm of this genre.
