The duo of Carmen (of Freja, and Vuur & Zijde) and Sarban (Misanthropia, Gigatron2000) combine their experiences of elevated atmospherics, doom, stoner groove and melodic black metal into an elemental album of patiently sown threads of ghostly woods-wandering atmosphere, howling gales of post-black crescendos, and layers of vocals that stalk the music like feral wraiths. The artwork, painted by Johan Prenger, perfectly conveys the haunting eeriness and supernatural energies of the music album, with the burning glow of the forest juxtaposed with the dark foreground with firefly spirits flitting between the two.
